On Tuesday January 12, MCATF installed its new Board of Directors consisting of old board members as well as new faces.
The board decided to move up the date where officers would take over in response to the critical news of budget cuts.
This new board was forced to hit the ground running in order to find new fundraising ideas to recover the lost grant money.

Dear Friends,
It was with mixed emotions that I accepted the nomination and election as Chairperson of MCATF at our meeting on Tuesday. After spending nearly a year as both Grant Manager and Treasurer I have become much more attached and dedicated to the Agency. With the last minute notice that we were no longer receiving state funding, I have to admit that a major panic set in. In the coming weeks we will be starting an all out effort to bring money into the Task Force to start paying our bills and keeping us functioning. We look forward to your help and ideas for accomplishing our goals.
