Letter from the Chair

Dear Friends,
It was with mixed emotions that I accepted the nomination and election as Chairperson of MCATF at our meeting on Tuesday. After spending nearly a year as both Grant Manager and Treasurer I have become much more attached and dedicated to the Agency. With the last minute notice that we were no longer receiving state funding, I have to admit that a major panic set in. Since receiving that news I have spent much time talking to other board members and community supporters and I am once again determined to making MCATF a viable and productive entity. I hope I can count on everyone’s trust, assistance and hard work with raising other funds to keep us going in the coming year. It’s going to take a lot of work from everyone to make this possible. Please make the commitment to help where ever you can with money, project and what ever else it takes to make this happen. Remember, we are a community service, serving those in need with the help of all of the community.
