MCATF will be participating in the Community Day Event on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Bergner’s in Eastland Mall. The last time MCATF did this we earned over $200 from coupon book sales. We need your help to make this a success for MCATF.
Here’s how you can participate. Go to communitydayevent.com and click on the “Participating Organizations” Read the rest of this entry »
Editor’s Note:
I first came to MCATF when I was 16 for the ODYC. Now I’m a facilitator and the editor of this newsletter. This organization has been a resource for me in my development and success and I hope to continue the tradition. I hope that the news of the loss of funding can serve as the catalyst for a revitalization. Please e-mail me at rrr@mcatf.org with any ideas you have on how we can better serve the community.
Best,
Robert A. Siron
On Tuesday January 12, MCATF installed its new Board of Directors consisting of old board members as well as new faces.
The board decided to move up the date where officers would take over in response to the critical news of budget cuts.
This new board was forced to hit the ground running in order to find new fundraising ideas to recover the lost grant money.
Be sure to read the letter from new Board Chairperson David Remesch. Read the rest of this entry »
